this quite sums up the cute day i had. today one of my kids asked me, 'are there mermaids in this world? are there really ships are the bottom of the sea? are there really treasures?'

oh and it's really funny that his school teacher explained to him that bigger animals are formed by many many many tiny ants. and aliens created Earth. Note: his teacher is an old man. HOW FUNNY!

this has been one of my favorites for a long long time. yea, it's really a long time. they're both taller than me since i last saw them. -.- that makes me the shortest in the family (minus my mom and grandma who is shorter only because she's shrinking) ahhh. what the hell.

well, actually, he was holding up his prize from the shooting game at the fair. that's his hand (thumb), not mine. i know it looks a bit odd, but it just happened.

this is black and white as it is. just look at how dynamic the black could get. the blur (and the glare too) is intentional if you're wondering. 

below is how LX3 performs under low light condition at ISO 800. minimal noise.

oh. just look at that lamp post! am i helping them advertise or what.

this it the first unprocessed LX3 shot up here. let us just ignore the lack of subject and concentrate on the color and the dof. pretty close.

besides, im not working as hard as im supposed to. have no idea how. HOW!?

i can't comprehend the prof's accent! french-english to be specific. through a third party device, he sounds worse than mumbling. am semi-upset. let's cheer up in my sleep.

i just cant get past this. why!!

it's not about being the smartest, having the best tools, the brightest ideas. it is more of sustaining an interest, and perseverance that everyone else watch on and judge. that mostly summarizes why certain people are admired while the rest are doubted.

there's so much you can decipher from just one photo. i find this one interesting.

am going through my photos bit by bit, uploading some important ones before finally sending in the macbook for repair.

i need a compact. and i'm buying LX3 after my papers in a month's time and let's hope the new camera doesn't drop into the the Berkelah falls while i trek up with my short fours. tents and stars. aww.

my dreams contradict one another

i think i might have just gotten myself a new hobby. directing, video-ing, editing is really quite fun. here's just some shots from today's filming. pretty amateurish but yea, it's my first try. plus, i don't understand a thing they were saying so i must say it's pretty challenging. hahaha. i hope it's funny.

oh and i must say, D90 really rocks! 

yea, very random.

finally. i'm looking at PHOTOS, DRAWINGS and DESIGNS!

i am done with all the group projects less the presentations. was terrible over-worked because the rest of the group disappears whenever there's work to do. it was so bad that i only had time for my first meal of the day at midnight for a few days consecutive. and two nights i walked past SDE and saw people working on their projects. can't help feel a little jealous and regret. for that moment, i'd rather do what they're doing and i know for certainty that i could excel in it.

okay, there's filming to do tomorrow. if there's anything interesting, i'll share it. by the way, pudding's doing great.
