i've my camera, memory cards, batteries, computer, but i freaking left behind my transfer wire. so let's wait till my favorite monkey send it over by plane. 

they really DONT countdown to new year here. but thumbs up to good food, cold weather and family.

i wasnt even hungry to begin with after downing the coco loco. so i went for all the good stuff at vienna. it was difficult. because everything was good. had so much oysters and sashimi i think i would be swimming in my sleep tonight. 

funny how i havent packed my luggage at all and i dont have any clothes for the winter. yay, let me freeze to death.

if we can't have anything more exotic, i always love to settle for chinese. but frankly, singapore doesnt have much variety when it comes to eating chinese. you can change a place, yet the food taste the same. tonight we ate at kitchener road with family friends. if you're sick of crystal jade like me, you could give putien a try too someday. 

mr 5.0 out-smart us all, but the first to space out. he can't be good at everything. we beat him at staying up late.

just so you know that i didnt blur raymond out intentionally. i can never win the steam. 

i was THAT close to walking into a camera shop when my results came on an sms. though she's happy, but mom being mom still said, no. no to me spending my own money on something i have always always wanted. well, okay, but if i get a 4.5 next semester, i will make sure i keep up to the promise made to myself.

the day was great. from the singing, to dinner, to IP MAN, which is a must-watch. 

i would say this is my best day this entire year, except for the extra 2 hours of unneeded agony: the dear faculty had conveniently subset the honors students as year fours. really nice.

with them, i'm a person i want to be.

some friend is trying to talk me into doing the CP. yea, CP, the big current one, the one where your reports get published in business times where every business brain will read them. the one where you get to play consultant to winning companies.  ah, i don't know. i must say the idea of your name appearing in business times is very very attractive, but my mind has been set on writing a thesis which, i think, is exciting. i have been very very indecisive lately. life is slowly coming to a point where choices seem to become increasingly tricky and decisions harder to make. chances always seem to be coming at the wrong time. there's no longer SOPs you could brainlessly follow. occasionally i do feel like i'm stepping on rocks and pebbles while crossing this river blind-folded. but we don't have a choice there, do we. let's just try to figure this out.

anyways, busy with my big secret "project". there wouldnt be any more drawings for the next 10 days or so.

i've started working on one of my biggest "project" but it isnt meant to be shared. when the time is right, maybe.

though i didnt get to prawn yesterday, my family did and they saved 10 fat juicy prawns for me! wahahaha. it must be the mating season. loads of prawn roe.

some have asked, who are those two blots. well, they're sometimes extensions of my mundane life, sometimes real people and conversations, sometimes purely imaginative. i'm happy that i've found this new way of expression that allows me to say what i want and yet avoid being personal at the same time. i always find writing a bit too naked for my liking.
