first i have to settle for a cheaper phone because he wants to continue being a hubber. apparently singtel and m1 prices are nearly 200 bucks lower but i'm fine with that, just any functionable phone will do.

then he refused to get my contract renewed before i set off for malaysia because there's 3 more days to go before it officially ends. and despite me being back for 5 days and counting, they aint bringing me to do up my application because they are too busy for half an hour.

my phone died on me the very day i came back and i thought it's fine because i can do with any spare phones i see around the house.

then the sim card decides to 'terminate' itself and i'm already seeing things like 'please insert sim card', he thinks it's all my fault, yes i spoilt the card.

i'm uncontactable.

sometimes i wonder for whom i'm going through all these for. i need a life.

looks like the modules i'm bidding for aint very popular, i probably can get them all at 5 points in total. sounds good to me.

christmas' over, boxing day's over, results were out, mom's went and came back from malaysia, there's only a couple of days more to the new semester, i'm still bored. maybe i really need a gay boy.

I've been tagged by Dawn

THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the "6 weird things about you." People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as stated in this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says that "you are tagged" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

1. I like walking around the house naked and sleeping without my bra on.
2. I have ankle-fetish.
3. I think batman is ugly.
4. I don't comb my hair too.
5. I love economics.
6. I am on good terms with cockroaches.

i'm tagging no one.

nope. there's no photos for the third day because for all i know we travelled a few hundred kilometres from pengang to kuala lumpur and this time i slept on the damn bus. that's morning gone for us and the afternoon was shopping, shopping and shopping. we wanted to catch t-rex but we missed it because apparently some of the movies in malaysia doesnt start on time. they said, 'the timing for our shows are subjected to changes'. wow to that.

haha. but we caught the what the pain. shit. i cant remember the freaking title. there's takashi i think yuk will kill for this movie. lol. now i remember the title, it's confession of pain at RM11.

that night we got lost at kl's night market and took almost 3 hours to get back to our hotel. we tv-ed together till a few of us gave up the thought of staying up for the last night.

the 4th morning, we set off for the twin tower.

and there's a tree larger than taka's. to me, surely it's a big deal.

we lunched at manhattan for singapore price in malaysian currency. absolutely satisfying.

one more kl just for you. :D

on the second day, we set off for penang's toy museum which houses quite a large variety. the interior of the building is already quite interesting on its own. the egypt style.

i've a bomb of photos but well, it's best you go and see them for yourself so shant showcase them all.

we cabbed another 8km to the penang beach for some sea sports. and i wasnt even supposed to be in the water but that guy said, 'you take off from the beach, you land on the beach', so hey, just do it man.

that's fur and nel flying for their first time.

i allowed yinn and jguang to gay; leng was too jelly for such things; huiqi refused to wet her new hair, so i flew alone, for the second time my life. the experience was again good but i didnt remember it to be so rocky the previous try, and witnessing an angmo parachuting into the sea right before my eyes didnt help much.

but i'm a brave girl. :D

i was still dry till the banana boat decided to throw us all 6 into the salt water. leng kept bumping into my back and nel was sitting on my hand but i had such a great time laughing myself off and allowing the three hunks pull me back up on the boat.

but jet-ski's still my favourite if you're talking about speed and bumping in water.

the evening was spent at the whole stretch of night market. it really killed my legs. i'd got my good bargains from there. now i've a mini cooper and a brand new kite! just to mention, dinner that evening was fantastic.

we then had a night of the curse of the golden flower at RM 11 or is it 10? whatever the price is, it's still cheap. though i didnt like having my movies in cantonese but it was good. but everytime jay popped up, we had to giggle a bit.

i was back in time for christmas and we counted down on the taxi. those 4 days 3 nights were most enjoyable; discovering one another's dirty little secrets we never knew in 3 years.

here are my folks.

the drive there was everyone-sleeping-and-yuan-stoning-alone. for more than 9 hours perhaps i was trying to make my upper and lower lids flirt with each other but hell, they have no chemistry!

the next morning we were at some penang terminal cam-whoring waiting for the mini van to bring some 7 of us to where we would gay at for the following 2 nights.

the day was spent shopping, doing our hair and finally penang hill in the late afternoon till late.

this carriage pulled us up literally to the peak

where it was all foggy and not to mention, cowly cool

well, up there on the hill you see monkeys, people, monkeys and people. if you're lucky, the fog will clear for a view of the penang city. and there's ancient phones like this around. are you not fascinated?

while we waited our bums flat for the ride back down, we 猜拳, cam-whored and learned the animal game that we played and laughed out ass off back at the hotel room.

that is all for the first day.

i'll be out of this place in 3 hours time.
*looks at time
uh, okay, maybe in 2 and a half.

i want to drop my library books, grab some bites, and some munchies for the dragging bus ride. i'm not even done with packing.
my change's in, cash's in, even my vitamins are in but i still have a roomful of things for me to drag along.
my baby's food is charging; hopefully i dont forget my passport.

ta for 5 daays. i'll be back on christmas.

Tuesday, December 19, 2006

wasted my $34, they only gave me 6 months. not that i'll sniff the malaysian air again any time soon but still, more is better. especially so when you know it's gonna cost you the same irregardless.
but dude, i managed to get my passport back in time. thats what matters the most.

this rain has ruined my plans but i still love it.

不必多说,昨晚我失眠了。

Saturday, December 16, 2006

i remember telling myself quite some months back that designing is not my kind of thing. i dont have the patience to churn out creations tailored to others' liking. i like doing art my way. so now a few months later, i see myself pulling my hair out just 'cos i cant have things my way.

this may turn out to be the final logo. and i haate it and i'm so ashamed of it and i want to disown it.
they should have, at the start, specify clearly that they wanted something prim and proper and metallic looking so knowing that they are such boring people, i wouldnt have picked up the job perhaps at that point in time.

remember, the logo is not done by me.

the baroque continues to play.

Wednesday, December 13, 2006

i can sign up as a paparazzi. i'm already trained at stealing shots with my big fat camera. when one of the backstage crew studied us from head to toe when i whipped out my cam, my primary instinct was to run and hide. The more i'm not allowed to shoot, the more i WILL shoot. who cares about rules when it comes to photography.

yuk said that they were filming for a new year specials. we shall see when the familiar scenes appear on tele.
believe me, they aint that bones and skin. fiona aint got huge assets and she walks like a gangster. maybe it's the heels.
global village on the 3rd night was a showcase of the food, games, dance, costumes and fun by the participating countries. it's one of the nights we truly enjoyed pigging out and sucking on cigger candies from taiwan before we zoomed back to the hostel. if you have to, click to enlarge.

that night they had a extremely quiet party sculling. we didnt join them but back at our apartment, i gulped down a cup of beer and turned red.
gala dinner on the 1st night. i cant even be bothered to dress up for the event unlike the rest of my apartment mates. the idea of lugging a set of gown for camp just puts me off. think about it.

touching up for the night in our apartment toilet.

from left to right: malaysian, *not-here-not-there, singaporean, taiwanese

cute jap guys the girls go ga-ga over. just look at yuk's 爽 look you'll get the idea.

i must clarify that we were not assigned to any tables but it just so happened that birds of the same feather flock together. yes i know, it isnt meant to be a funeral; it's gala dinner.

Friday, December 08, 2006

NLDS occupies me from the 9th to the 12th, so you can start missing me tomorrow if you want. now instead of sleeping in at hotel 81, we're camping at the smu hostels which sounds more.. right, you get the idea?

i'm staring at the suggested list of things to bring now and no i wont start packing before the clock strikes 12. looks like a list. formal wear for gala dinner, games/dance/songs you might want to share with the others, costumes, food, games, posters etc to showcase your country at global village. damn. i shall skip ALL that and bring only those i want to bring.

it's the photo parade again.

dawn, you warned me about it i know, but i'm still putting it up for the world to see. haha!

Thursday, December 07, 2006

The trip to penang, langkawi and kl is confirmed. 20th to the 25th. That leaves me with little room for bed affair and my savings' down to a miserable 400. i wouldnt see the numbers grow till i get my cheque.

i've gotten myself good reads this holiday.

i'm meeting balls tomorrow. it's been a really long time.

why aint everyone growing up to be the best?
some get their lives wasted. on smokes and alcohol.
i wouldnt want to be like that. i have big dreams.

been on these 10-4am. hopefully one of them gets through. i probably can do better but no i'm bedding for now.

haha, and if you'd notice the slight change, yes i did that in 5 minutes since i'm still working anyway. maybe i should create a full set plate and the crumbling crisps brand. on second thoughts, brand a blog? are you nuts?!

Wednesday, December 06, 2006

the green line was half-paralyzed for a good period this morning. and because of whatever cropped up at yishun, my usual 1 and a half hours journey became a 2 and a half.
oh well, the happy season calls, not to dwell on such subject matter.

right now i'm still sitting on a corporate logo design job. i should be doing something about it i guess but it all depends on how long more the sun sleeps before i can give the client a call. no, now's not the time. -stares at clock-

i want to make sure i grab some cash these 30 days and reserve some decent time for my dishevelled soul. the ideas are contradictory. or maybe not.

Sunday, December 03, 2006

i dont know how i can be a marketing guru overnight but nevermind, i'm still trying. anyway, how much can they possibly test in that 2 hours. i probably am apt enough to smoke through. heh. we shall see.

-laughs at the complaint letter from the biz-ad representative to the examination board. it's herzberg's dissatisfiers and satisfiers 2 factor theory! i can see its applications here!
they shouldnt complain that much. it's annoying. though me too was disturbed by the constant shouting in the exam venue. so since everyone's affected, why should they bother.

next year is starting in no time.

There will be five questions:
2 on inventory management
1 on aggregate planning
1 on MRP and
1 on Operations Scheduling
No essay questions and no MCQs.

isnt this cute? level 2 modules are just different. HAHA. babies, learn!

this year's superstar is a flop. i dont rule out two to three more promising still-standing contestants, but the better ones are out.
truth is, the first few rounds are just monetary-backing show-hand. come on, rational people dont become fans overnight! I assume you already know that you dont have to agree with me on that.

considering their network of friends are, ermm..rich, she shouldnt have been knocked out first round. even my mom voted just to show her friend's daughter some support. but hey, 她还真的有几把刷子也!同岁的我不得不因如今还没啥成就的自己感到万分惭愧。

i should be in bed.
