these would be the last of birds for now. I have a better picture of those two kids but i want to show you guys this particular bird which prefers running to flying. i remember i had another funny picture of a bird in Sydney 1 and a half years ago.

i spent today watching My Fair Lady (1964), Gandhi (1982), and Unforgiven (1992). there're some things similar bout the old films: they run on three hours, and there's always an intermission. i still have 8 discs of oscar films to watch. not a bad way to spend this recess.

i tried. maybe not hard enough, but i really tried. i hate to behave like an ostrich which instinctively buries its head into the sand. by the way, in actual fact, an ostrich does not do that. thats a point for clarification in case anyone gets misled by this myth which i'm using to serve my purpose.

yup i know. this place is turning quite a zoo. but let me show you MY pudding!

i can't recall the name of these animals but this specie is forever on guard. they live in groups and they love stand really straight so that they could keep a lookout. their tiny heads are forever turning towards the sound source. and that makes them really interesting to look at. but because of the environment, these animals seemed really confused at times. they really couldnt decide where to look at with so many people walking past them every single day.

this is the best i could go with my kit lens and of course with the macro attachment. sad. totally missed the details; we cant even see the eyes! i seriously cannot afford micro lenses.
